Achieve a younger, more defined face without the need for surgery

Wrinkles, facial volume loss and lack of contour are traits that tend to bother many people. But there's no reason for despair, since there are procedures to soften the signs of aging and harmonize the face with minimally invasive techniques, with no need for cuts or surgery, and with excellent results.

It's natural that, over the years, some signs of aging begin to appear, such as wrinkles, thinner lips and volume loss in certain areas of the face, causing a "melted face" effect.

And what causes these signs?

Genetics, hormones, excessive sun exposure, repetitive muscle action, and decreased collagen are some of the factors responsible for these concerns.

Facial contour

But it's not just the signs of aging that affect self-esteem. Younger patients also often have concerns related to a lack of facial proportion. These include issues like excess skin under the chin, lack of facial contour, a face that's too round or too long, a prominent or disproportionate nose bridge, lack of lip volume and contour, and reduced cheekbone contour.

Fortunately, all of these issues can be easily treated with facial filler, a procedure whose effects can contribute to improved self-esteem and well-being.

Facial filler: how it works

Facial filler uses shaping, biocompatible components, such as hyaluronic acid and collagen biostimulators, to add volume to areas in order to promote proportion, restructuring, lifting and facial contour, as well as improving hydration and, depending on the material, stimulating collagen.

The process is quite simple and painless: the material is injected under the skin with the help of a microcannula, and the patient can return to daily activities immediately after application, with some care to be taken. It's worth noting that, depending on each case, these two substances can be applied together or separately.

In addition, the application can use different techniques to further enhance the desired effect, such as MD Codes™, for example. With it, it's possible to map specific points on the face for filler application, resulting in a natural lifting effect.

Facial filler: who is it indicated for

Facial filler is indicated to treat various areas of the face, bringing safe and effective results for different concerns. Let's go over them below:

  • Lip volume — to add volume, more contour and adjust proportions, or to hydrate, contour, beautify and prevent the effects of aging.
  • Facial sagging — to improve sagging in the under-eye area, nasolabial folds and marionette lines, restructure the face and harmonize facial proportions.
  • Nose bridge — to soften a "bump" appearance, lift the tip of the nose or improve its proportion to the face.
  • Reducing chin sagging and improving facial contour — in the jaw and chin area, to reduce sagging or define the contour.
  • Improving facial profile — harmonization of the main structures responsible for the facial profile, such as the nose, lips and chin.
  • Forehead lines — softens the effects of aging on the forehead and temples, treating sagging and volume loss.
  • Nasolabial folds, under-eye hollows and marionette lines — restores uniformity to the face, filling in wrinkles and grooves with a natural result.

Application techniques

Once the assessment is done and goals are set, the application takes place in a calm, controlled manner, with local anesthesia and/or conscious sedation, to avoid any discomfort. After anesthesia, the biostimulators and/or hyaluronic acid are injected.

Results of facial filler

Facial filler provides natural results that enhance each person's individual beauty. Regardless of the area to be treated, results appear quickly — in most cases, immediately after application.
