The treatment

What is CO₂ Laser

The new generation of CO₂ laser expands the possibilities for skin treatment by using different intensities and modalities, allowing a precise, personalized approach. Its main indications include skin rejuvenation, from the first signs of aging — such as fine lines, enlarged pores, dark spots and early laxity — to mature skin, from 40, 50, 60 or 70 years old, which needs deeper resurfacing to restore texture, firmness and radiance. It is a versatile technology, capable of promoting intense renewal with absolute control over depth and recovery.

Because it is a fully adaptable treatment, the CO₂ laser is adjusted according to age, skin type, degree of aging and each patient’s specific needs. At the clinic, we work with three intensity levels (1, 2 and 3), defined after a careful assessment. Younger patients with early changes generally benefit from lighter, more moderate protocols, while mature skin or skin with greater structural compromise may need more intense approaches for superior, long-lasting results.

Besides rejuvenation, the CO₂ laser is highly effective for treating acne scars, promoting progressive smoothing of irregular skin texture. In many cases, it can be combined with other therapies to enhance results. It is also indicated for treating surgical and traumatic scars — such as those from facelifts, blepharoplasty, plastic surgery, accidents or other medical procedures — including hypertrophic scars, which may require a larger number of sessions for complete refinement.

The number of sessions varies according to the clinical indication, ranging from one to three sessions in rejuvenation protocols, and four to six sessions in specific cases of more complex scarring. Each treatment is planned individually, with a personalized protocol and investment. Our team is ready to answer every question and develop a strategic plan tailored to your skin.
